Default Selling Brakes: 2004 6mt Brembo

Hey all,

I have a set of Hawk brake rotors and pads I need to sell. I bought them before deciding to sell my car, and the return period lapsed...I'm hoping to recoup my money.

Any recommendations on where to sell? (other than ebay and craigslist...) They're brand new, unopened, unused etc etc.

Hawk Performance parts:
Sector 27 - Rotors HR4905
Hawk Ceramic Brakes HB545Z.564 D960

Thanks!

Lol, not trying to scam anyone. I will repost on ebay. I posted on ebay a while back, but sorting through the postings, it doesn't appear anyone is buying them as they're a rather targeted product for a specific few cars...hence me posting on here.

I'll post a link soon. My name on ebay is the same. MGV94114.

I'm sure it can be done, I will ask at the Post Office how much it'd cost and what the options are. They're quite heavy...so probably ground shipping is best. Will get back to you soon

Well then. I guess there is no need to negotiate a fair price then. Have a good one.

Last time I shipped something big and heavy, I was able to look up cost on line at UPS and it was either 100% accurate or within $ 2.00 or so. All I recall is they were big wheels and tires and I was a go-between helping out a 6MT member in CA that wanted tires and wheels sold in Denver and listed on ebay.

UPS ground, 5 days or so on other things like boxes wasn't too bad or at least the cheapest. If you ship books as 'media' you can really get cheap but they will inspect it to make sure it's 100% books.

On brakes or cars parts, you can really only value them by what new ones are with (warranty) and shipping and negotiate from there. My interest would perk up on any bigger ticket item that is $100 or more if I could save 20 or 25% from a reg parts store.

Thanks Bachman. Very well said! For the record...I am flexible on the price on these (couldn't tell if you are interested though). I am mainly looking to recoup some of my loss.
