18 more ponies. I don't know of the times yet. I'm sure they will be out in the next couple of months.

I thought the power increase was due to better tests of the 03-04 coupes. I didn't think they changed anything. Some people have better dyno test with stock coupe than infiniti had. I might be wrong but I thought I read that some where.

Those 19's might slow the car down.

While 18hp does sound great, in all honesty, I think the actual improvements that are felt will be negligible, at best. While the 6mt is now coming with 19's, those 19's are forged, not cast. That'll affect the weight, just because of the method used on 'em.

well 18hp increase at the expense of 10 lb/ft of torque. From my understanding that would help at higher speeds, but not much for off-the-line or something like that. The sports coupe is also heavier then the normal g35.....

Virge u can't really say much about acceleration even though 10lb/ft torque is missing...U don't know how the torque curve is compared to the 04-03 VQs nor do u know how much torque is there after the peak.

well, i'm sure they've compensated for the larger wheels by playing with the gearing a bit to level the playing ground.

they have yet to come up with consistant 0-60 times for the 03-04...the times have a variance of .6 seconds...fastest I've seen is 5.5...slowest has been 6.0.....the 350z fastest if seen is 5.3 slowest is 5.84.....ultimatetly a quick 04 will beat a not so quick 05...that is my theory...especially if there is an injen intake invovled....get an 04 you have bembros and with the extra money saved get an injen intake borla exhaust and you will fear no 05
