plus for 3k u can definitely get a lil more than 18 hp, for the 250 i spent on a CAI i'm prolly close to it anyway (and if i'm not then please let me continue to think I am for my ego's sake)

I would be paying 3k extra and not get the additional ponies.

3k is a lot but 6mt is only $300. Still I would not mind having a mp3 player, faster cd changer, and bigger wheels. The only part that sux about the 05 is no brembos.

Actually now that I think of it, is it because they did away with the base non-leather model? That's probably why.

Personally I think a $300 US increase on the 6MT is fair and absolutley reasonable![boink] For Automatic buyers not so much. [banghead]

298 HP, 19", Rims well worth $300, not to mention all the other refinements , ok no 3" lip on the rims but we can hardly rely on the manufacture to give the consumer every conceivable possibility.

Keep in mind also, that adding a CAI or exhaust is going increase that hp even more, how much is yet to be determined.
I'll wait till April . . . add the Stillen Exhaust and AEM intake and see what I end up with . . .

I can not wait for actual Canadian pricing numbers (6MT coupe) to be released. According to the dealership as of Monday, I won't see those until December possibly.

"APRIL 2005: Diamond Graphite 6MT coupe, all but Navi . . . In Canada the 6MT automatically comes with sunroof and aero package . . . it is not an option. Ordering in January 2005."

I actually saw one a couple of weeks ago. The guy who was driving it worked for The Weather Channel. I happened to look inside it to see the cloth seats and then realized that he didn't have a sunroof either. I couldn't believe my eyes.

The $300 increase is just in the base price. After you add the options you are looking at an increase anywhere from 2k to 3k.

not really since the Premium pkg went up about 600 and everything else stayed the same i think. Plus the sport suspension is included in the base price for the 6mt... so you're only talking a 1k increase max... at least thats the way i look at it

I am basing my numbers on the price of my '04 compared to the price of an '05 with the same options. '04 = $38,065 '05 = $40,310 that is a $2,245 difference in price.
