Default car did something weird AGAIN...

i was stopped at a light and all of a sudden i hear this loud high-pitched note for about 7 seconds. then i look at my guage cluster and i see

which basically looks like a (!)

i thought it was a tire pressure monitor...

but i took a look at all four tires and they all seemed to be pretty turgid.
any suggestions as to what this might be? im going to the dealer tomorrow definitely.

It's normal.. mine did it, and I finally went and checked the pressure.. they were all down around 30-31 psi, so I filled them all back up to 36psi. After driving around for a bit, the indicator went away. While the tires may look like they aren't low, the sensor can be pretty sensitive..

Just something to keep in mind.

It makes a loud beeping sound which goes away after 10-15 seconds. If you had your radio on you might have missed the inital beeping.

check your tires. mine goes off once every 2-3 weeks. rear right tire keeps queefing.

mines is 2004, and the tire pres. light is on the other side of RPM gauge.

What are the tire pressures recommended for fronts and rears? All I see is max.
