like i said before..i would prob kill him..but..what happend was i had 3 people in the car including me...my buddy in the m3 had no one but himself..so we do a race from a stop..were even till 3rd gear..but when i go to 4th..i get a lil more boost for some reason..dont know how to explain..then he pussied out (dont know why)..in my opinion i think my 4th gear is fastest..and he prob knew and backed off...then from a roll we raced again and it again was even..again he backed off..then the third time i went all out from a roll..i ended up beating him...on a 45mph..i notice i was doing 110..lol..IN CONCLUSION..from a stop with only me in the car going all out i would win [cheers][clapper][finger][rockon][phatyo]
I have raced M3's a couple times. I raced a 2003 M3 and got beat pretty bad. I then raced a 96 or 97 M3. It was dead even then I slowly started to pull on him. My 6MT is bone stock.
and you talk about boost? NO way you can stay dead even with an m3 with a loaded car. Just not possible with the G. Unless im wrong, please prove me wrong.
The stock G has no way to beat a M3. The SMG M3 can still own us easily by gun the gas. Our G has noway to beat a M3 without a supercharger or TT no matter how profession are u [^]
no..my car is stock..but next time ur on the road..switch at 6.6-7 rpm..from third to fourth...you get a big pull..

I thought you had a TT or SC...what is this boost you talk of? Gonna have to say [bs] no this if you got a bone stock. I assume this is a current gen M3. Even a last gen M3 would have you asssuming you have a loaded car
i believe the G could beat the m3 like bamshad said. according to supercars.net the 2001 m3 only has 255 hp but has 364 torque. the torque would give the m3 a head start however until the cars were at higher speeds where the G could take over because of hp. say around 3-4 gear maybe like he said? i haven't driven the G yet though so i can't say for sure, also don't think the G could keep up full of people. perhaps the m3 he raced was an older generation? only reasonable things i can come up with.

older generation is about equal with the G ... a loaded G would lose. The current M3 will take off at start and we won't be catching up in any gear unless the M3 has a really bad shift ... don't forget the loaded car either. His story goes against just about every M3 experience other people have had on this site ... just go through the racing thread ... we lose in every case unless they're running F/I
Unless this was an old M3, NO WAY
and again even if it was new, it had to be manual and he cant drive.
my friend owns the SMG 02 M3, im convinced that only on the track we could beat the M3
Hmm.. I cant believe it. I was in the passenger seat of my friend's 2004.5 M3 manual (stock) when he outran my friend's 2003 G35 6MT (w/ pop/z-tube). I even tried to beat the M3 myself in my friend's G35 and I couldn't pass him.
The M3 is a great car.. I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive. I don't want to deal with typical bimmer problems either. My friend had to take his car in twice for transmission issues, dead battery, and BMW communication system glitches.
