2nd or 3rd gear burnout

i was just wondering if any of you have tried to pull a second or third gear
burn out while on a roll? im not talking about a chirp when shifing i mean a
full on burnout while driving in second or third gear. i saw that video of the vette burning rubber while rolling in what looked like third or fourth gear and was curious.

anyone with a leased 6mt want to try it ?

i got a AT, but next time I take it in for service I'll ask for a 6mt.. but it's always the sedan!!! but I'll try it on that one and I'll let you know. LOL.

You won't find any 6MT loaners unless you get one of the employee's cars for the day.

6MT sedans are also pretty rare. It's easier to find a 6MT coupe. If they gave out 6MT loaners I think they'd have to charge money since the clutches would need to be replaced far too often. Also, people do clutch drops would wreak havoc on other parts in the car as well.

If you do get a 6MT loaner though, tell me where. I'll take my car down to SoCal for the next service hehe. Wouldn't want to hurt my own 6MT.

Yeah it reminds me of the Days of Thunder movie with Tom Cruise when he and the other top driver take out the rentals and destroy them.

Or how about the Jackass movies where he takes and destroys the rental and burns it....

Hahaha good stuff! I'm sure rental companies just cringe when Hollywood makes movies like that.

I have no problem doing this with either 2nd or 3rd. Of course, you do need to hit the cluth, rev it a bit, then release. SKRRRTT!
