Default G35 Lambo Doors

Hey Guys I really want to install Lambo doors (vertical doors) on my 6mt coupe. Has anyone done this or knows where i can get a cheap kit. Not quality just a low price on one. All the ones i have found were around 1,000. Maybe someone knows someone? Anyway thanks.

It's not very practical but if you really want to do it.. go for it. I found a site that sells it for over 2grand.. O_O
http://www.verticaldoors.com/v2/shopexd.asp?id=67

If I understand this right.. you have to push the door out, and then push it up. It's not power-assisted. If you do get this mod, make sure your passenger doesn't forget you have vertical doors.. I've heard of people's hinges breaking off due to idiots trying to push the door out horizontally. Takes more effort just to get inside and outside of your car. I think it looks good though, a guy I know has it on his RSX and it looks pretty nice.

Seems like a simple thing but I wouldn't go with a cheap kit. I've seen doors fall from crappy hinges ... in case ya don't know car doors are heavy and expensive. Remember ... most expensive doesn't mean quality but lowest price usually indicates complete crapola ... especially on stuff like this. If you do get this done ... post some pics asap

Mmmm that G does look good. But the front kit paint job is alittle off from the rest of the car. I love the side skirts.

Hey Donny, thanks for the shout-out... heheh. I'll post some pics of my G/Skyline. The install was a PITA, but I think mine was an isolated issue and Vertical Doors, Inc took care of the problem. I can tell you more about it if you'd like.

I bought the Vertical Doors, Inc. Kit through Aspec Motorsports for about $1400... but now I see that they've raised the price on them.

Ask me any ?'s about them... it's no problem!

Mark

Nice car indeed. However, He should have picked a better paint shop to match the front bumber to the rest of the car. Looks almost two-tone...

Dieu,

Truly you'd have to see the car in person before making a statement like that. The angle and camera capture does not do it justice... if you saw it in person, you'd say that the color match is right on, believe me... DIZZ can attest to it as well....

Also, since the car is a 2003.5, I'm sure that there has been a little fading of the paint due to the sun... can't really compensate 100% for that....

Mark

Yup, my son is a Freak of Nature.... heheh

Well, I'm not sure I can make it on Friday night because it's my son's 6th birthday, so I'm taking my kids over to Chuck E. Cheese's... fun fun! What time are you going to be doing the detailing and at what location (the Car Wash on Jamboree/Edinger)??

Thanks

Mark
