Taxes need help

I live in New York If i lease a car in new jersey and pay taxes up front, do i have to also pay new york taxes?

Im confused overall on how this works.

Taxes are based on the county of domicile and registration I believe.

Yup it's were you live. I bought my car in AL but since I'm stationed in MS I had to pay MS tax. Grrrr I don't like giving this state any money.
