To answer your question...I believe this is a pretty good explination of how the bmw angle eyes work...at least the stock ones. If you look at the new 5 series they have etches in the ring just like in the website. As for the DDEs made for bmws...I would have no clue...they don't seem to have etches of any kind.

Thanks for the excellent explaination. I think I like the computer lighting cable better......it looks easier to do than melting/molding/dremeling/etc.....
