I fear I may never again see the day where Massachusetts road and weather conditions join forces to form a day in which it does not rain and the roads are not dug up due to road construction.
It's been like a week and a half since I've driven my G(Been driving my beater in the meantime). Every inch of every street within about a 2 mile radius of my house is completely decimated by road construction. It's just obnoxious how bad the road conditions are. We're talking about a 4-5 inch drop from where the paved roads end and the construction zones begin. The construction zones are all mud with sections of chopped up pavement and sewer caps that stick up about another 4 or 5 inches. It scares the shit out of me to navigate my old beater car around and over the sewer caps because I'm worried that it's going to hit the front spoiler and rip it right off.
To make things worse....since it's been raining every day, the construction guys have not been working, which means the road just stays the way it is for even longer. The storm drains are not removing water from the streets because they are raised up a few inches from the road(like the sewer caps are), so the roads are also flooded with huge and nearly constant puddles that make it almost impossible to see where the bigger potholes are hiding.
Hopefully they'll pave these damn roads sometime soon, and G Three Five can make his presence known to the streets again before winter comes.
Hell yeah we did.
I was at a friends house Thursday night watching a movie till pretty late. The rain storm that I encountered on the drive home was the worst I've ever seen firsthand while driving. We got bombarded with rain Friday and Saturday nights too. Today was supposed to be nice, but they lied.
Sorry guys.. It's beautiful and sunny out here in Southern California!
But we have road construction too.. I usually take the long way to work so I can advoid those stupid little pebbles and stuff that flys up and hit my car. Hope your roads get fix soon.
Weathermen are the only people that I know that are right 10% of the time and are still considered professionals in their field.

Then, there are the 80% of mutual fund managers who fail to beat their benchmark 90% of the time, yet still draw a pretty impressive salary. Go figure.
