I was out on a road ride (riding my bicycle) yesterday and this guy was making a uturn on a double lane hwy. He must have seen me checking out the car cause he stepped on the gas! I've never heard such a sound come out of a car. Especially when he changed gears. There was split second of complete silence then blam! the engine would roar again. It's really hard to explain. Think of it as having your music really loud then pressing mute and a split second later un-muting it.
oh yeah, I saw one of these yesterday:
It was on the fast lane going about 70. I thought about passing it on the right with my G but then I could not get enough of its rear end plus I did not want to get eaten for dinner.
I love the Carrera GT but I'm finding myself less and less a fan of Astin Martins. Whenever I see a new one I just think FORD and that just kills the effect to me
The Carrera GT was priced at $440k, but I'm sure the retail is around at least $500k. Must be nice to have that kind of money. Speaking of I picked up my G from the dealer today and watched this old man drive off in a brand new SL500 in silver.
My bosses boss drives an Austin Martin DB7 looks pretty much the same but in dark blue, that thing sounds Sweeeeeeetttt! Incredible looking car and turns a lot of heads

A car like that Porsche deserves its own full-time butler. Pay him 60-80k a year, then once or so a week, you say, "James, after waxing the car, park it out front so Lovey and I can go for a drive". "Ta-Ta"

I saw a Lamborghini Gallardo yesterday. Yellow. So hot. I rarely see them around here. Most people with money in this area buy high-end Benzes or Porsches. Very few Ferraris and that was the first Lambo I've sighted around DC other than in the showroom.
It was on a test drive from Criswell. I waved and gave them the thumbs-up. Two 40s-50s-something guys in it. Probably the salesman riding with some CEO going through mid-life crisis after his wife left him for banging the secretary. Who knows. Talk about an attention-getter though. That car is HOT.
I saw a ferrari the other day. It was in Encino and at a redlight in the middle of three lanes. I was with my girlfriend and I said, "Hey look theres a yellow ferrari up ahead... and oh look, theres an open lane next to him at the light... want to race a ferrari??" My girlfriend gave me an evil look... she don't like racing. I pulled up next to him anyway, but I ddin't punch it when the light turned green. he wouldn't have raced anyway cause he let me pass him and got behind me to mak a right turn into a gas station. But in my fantasy world... I beat his ass of the line!!!!
