Default Poop of some kind, what do I do?

I had some poop of some kind on my car. Small yellow poop (4 to 5 mm in diameter) from either a very little bird or insects. I washed my car but the color has bled into the paint (brilliant silver). I tried clay bar and tar & bug remover right after washing it, but it wasn't any use.

Is there anything I can use to get this out or am I screwed?

Piss on it. Your urine is a natural acid that will clean that right up!

..let me know if it actually works, hahaha. But seriously, I get those all the time too. I think its from small birds, I try to get them off as soon as I see them. If the clay bar didn't work.. then you may be screwed. Try waxing it out.

how long was the poop on before you washed it off? I often wonder about bird poop on my car and try and get it off quick

Sandking, funny you should mention that. If you step on a sea urchin or get stung by a Portugese Man-O-War you are supposed to do that. If you come down here, since you are a good friend, I'll pee on you.

I don't know how long they were on, a couple of days? The thing is that I had others on the car that were not any problem, but have about 2 or 3 that stained.

Got these on the old car, but I don't know if it stained that paint too since it was black.

I'm going to get really paranoid about this stuff now.

GZire ... what about me ... I would pee on you even if you didn't get stung by anything

What kind of bar & tar remover did you use? I use Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover: Super Penetrating Forumla. It's in a white can and it just pours out. It's gotten everything off my car so far ... works best after a wash but be ready to wash again ... this crap is strong

I used the Turtle Wax also, but it's in a spray bottle.

This stuff has actually stained the paint. The paint is not etched the yellow color has turned into a subdued mustard color. It's not real easy to see, but if you looked at the spot you can definitely see it.

it's the uric acid in the bird poop. it has eroded some of the clear coat. polish it and apply a few coats of wax.

Same happend to me...try the stuff I use. It's thicker and stronger than anything in a spray bottle and for $4.00 it's not gonna bankrupt you if it doesn't work right. A few spots were really stained and what I did was wash then Bug/Tar then wash then waited a while a retried the bug/tar and it was gone ... one more wash to get rid of the bug/tar crap though

I am sorry GZire...I know my last post was in poor "taste"...just could not resist!

I can not think of anything else at the moment to try except for some clearcoat polish or some TR3(think that's what it is called)

Woa! That seems like a lot of work! The funny thing is, those little birds are in a tree just around the corner waiting for him to finish and go inside so they can swoop down and lay down a few more yellow spots. I swear the birds aim for cars on purpose. Hell, if I were a bird... I'd do it too and brag about it to the fellas on the telephone poles!

Actually me and the boids have come to an agreement recently ... they stop crapping on my car and I stop mixing rat poisin with the bird feed ... [lol] jk ... but I haven't had any bird doodie on my car in weeks now. Bugs on the other hand are doing the whole kamikaze trick into my bumper on a regular basis ... I even have a few on my back bumper, no clue how they happend but they're there. I don't get a chance to clean the car till the weekend so during the week a lotta bugs get caked on ... looks like I'm going to be going through the bug/tar crap every 2 weeks

Same here. Nothing worked except swirl remover. The little gift that a bird left virtually destroyed a small area of paint on my car. Actually, it was the clear coat that it almost ruined...

Sandking I am starting to think the stuff we see is from insects. Either that or these birds are dogging you and me.

Ru - 4 stores and I couldn't find it. I bought the "original" Turtle Wax bug & tar remover. It smells like paint thinner. I tried it and it didn't work. I will try one more place for your magic Super Penetrating Formula.

Super - I don't know, it's more like this bled into the paint or clear coat. The coat is smooth and shows no sign of etching, just discoloration.
