Evolution of Cerritos Ca:
1960's: Hills and Green Fields
1970's: Hills, Dairy Farms, tons of cows and place smells like fertilizer
1980's: Housing developes, Dairies start to close, village starts to look like a town.
1990's: Mini-malls, more houses, no more dairys and cost of living increases. Not to mention the city somehow gets a sh!tload of money and fixes the city up nicely.
2000's: Old 3 bedroom houses sell for $500K. New homes sell for $800k-1.3M

Awesome picture! Reminds me of Pulp Fiction when Sam Jackson is in the diner and he tells the robber to reach in the bag and give him back his wallet and the guy says, "whicih on is it?", and Sam says, "It's the one that says "Bad Mutha Fucka"!.... (gets handed the wallet) yeah, thats my bad mutha fucka."

Thanks for the history on Cerritos (FYI -- I have lived in the South Bay all my life and currently reside in Rolling Hills. When I went to college (SC) -- 10 years ago -- I had to pick her up from Cerritos and she described her neighborhood a bit differently.) All of the home prices in So Cal are high; which is good because it gets rid of the rif faf.

Perhaps I should have called it an "upper-middle class" nieghborhood instead of "middle-upper class". I guess there's a difference. It's not a rich place.. but its not a poor place either.

Nicely written story sandking, I'm glad everyone was safe! I don't agree with your decision to run, but can appreciate the adrenaline rush.

Also, how was your recent test with the new plane (when you left us for a few weeks)?

Man! Orlando, you couldn't have your nose stuck further up in the air if you tried, and you still can't spell. Time for all us lower class riff-raff to puke on your cordovan tassel loafers. [lol]
