For example, a moron's declaration on a public message board that he felony evasion of the police. Or, perhaps, the lack of anyone else's fingerprints on the vehicle.
Sheesh. A "little" knowledge of the law is a dangerous thing.
Personally, I think what you did was immature - no, childish. You deliberately endangered the lives of many others - for no good reason whatsoever. I find nothing amusing or laudable in your actions - only lucky that you (apparently) escaped and didn't kill or injure anyone else in the process.
Running from the police in a residential area? Over a speeding beef? Totally selfish and reckless. You had better hope that police officer doesn't decide to run a search on your vehicle type - there probably aren't that many G35 coupes in your area in your color and he'll doubtless be able to find you should he so choose. Also, posting this nonsense in a public message board is just plain stupid and a good way to get tagged (assuming your story is legit).
Grow up, son.

Chuck, I couldn't agree with you more. What I did was just plain stupid and definitely not worth the inocent lives or property damage that could have possibly come from it. But the fact that I had been drinking heavily and the road was blurry just gave me more reason to run! Okay... I'm just playing, I wasn't drinking.. I just couldn't resist pissing you off more[].
But seriously, I admit that my actions could have had great consequences at which the term "vehicular manslaughter" could have been my new prison sentence. I don't think I could live with myself if one of my foolish acts took another's life, which is why I vow to never do that again... and to slow down a bit while driving on city streets... unless its against an Eclipse.
This happend a few weeks ago, and I haven't seen any SWAT, FBI, Sherriffs, 007 or Jason Bourne waiting for me to get home from work, so I guess I'm in the clear. Besides, I still had paper plates on my car. I didn't get my real plates untill a week later.
I kinda figured that posting this story would upset a few of you. But if it calms any of your nerves... once I pulled off the main street into the actual residential neighborhood where there may be unsuspecting children running in the streets, I slowed to 25mph and just coasted home. Like I said, I know that neighborhood like the back of my hands. There are many small turns and little streets at which I can just take my time and weave my way home. No need for speed in tight windy areas like that. Besides I'm not one for laying down black rubber in a neighborhood like my obnoxious neighbor in his fixed up mustang.
So relax Chuck... I could be using my G as a get away car for liquor store robberies and drive by shootings... but instead... I just turned the corner and ran for about a mile to get away from a ticket.

Okay, I have absolutely no idea why you got so offended at what I said..I wasn't trying to say you were wrong. I was merely trying to state that there is a difference between being legally responsible and having criminal charges brought against a person. You are right that there are lots of ways they could prove that he was driving (eyewitness accounts and on-site confessions probably being the best in traffic situations) but merely having the license plate of a vehicle registered to a person is not enough.

We almost got the traffic cam shoved down our throats several years back. The State wanted to generate revenue under the guise of safety. One of the topics that came up was the subject of who to cite for speeding, running red lights, etc. Although you can get a picture of the car, you cannot identify who was driving it. The driver could be your brother, your aunt, or a thief.
The company whose system was used pointed this issue out to the State lawmakers, who then in their good judgement decided to push it through anyway.
Several years later, there are no cams, the traffic cam contractor made money and I lost money because my taxes went to pay for an ill advised and totally unwanted "traffic control" measure.
Now they take pictures of the driver as well. A senator got introuble once because he ran a redlight and they took a picture of him. But behold, who was in the passenger seat??? His mistress! So when his wife got the ticket in the mail and opened it up, the senator had alot of explaining to do. So then, this mighty senator filed a law suit against these cameras and now they black out the passenger.. but the driver is still caught.
As for ChillingChucky... I think he needs to take a valium and relax. He must have ben one of those kids growing up that everyone picked on, so now he's bitter with the world.
Now, as for your mighty evidence of tracking me down... Sorry. No plates.. no visual ID of driver... no case! No matter what I say on here, it could all be fictional story telling in the court of law. My car is the 1 in 1000 suspected anonomous white G coupes driving around california. But if you think that what I write on here can get me busted... then I also shot JFK and Lincoln. I sold a lot of cocaine to the ghetto in the late 60's and 70's, and I'm the mastermind behind the Water Gate scandal. Oh yeah... I also run a Meth lab in Chucks basement.
Now... come and get me!!! I'll be waiting with guns-a-drawn, gritted teeth, bloody tears, dark shades, long trench coat and an arsenal of insanity. "If I go, we go!" - with the flip of a switch.

I have a buddy that pulles mini power slides in all the turn he possibly can on the street, in front of everyone and mid day traffic. The one time I pull a power slide/fish tail is at night 11:00p.m in front of no traffic and I can see clear head of the corner...I happen to do it right in front of a cop while doing 50. I told the cop the girl in the back seat pointed out the street and I made a last minute BAD decision...and he said that he would give me a speeding ticket. I LOVE THAT COP....given the fact that my tires were smoking 4 mins after he had already pulled me over...That happened like 3 weeks ago...I VOW TO MYSELF...I'd never do that again....not worth it....$200 bucks is way too much money out of my wallet....and it was damn scary cuz I had passangers and I wouldn't wanna take the risk of endangering them again...
On the record I did one cool fish tail...and thats enough for me. OH and any of you guys into cool initial D that live in so cal should come visit me. I live near this road called GMR - Glendora Mountain Road and people love to race down it at night. I haven't been up there to watch yet but my buddies have. And they race initial d drift style all the way down the mountain. That stuff interest me a lot...Drifing that is...CUZ INITIAL D ROCKS!

Sandking forgot to admit that he's still harboring Elian Gonzalez's secret twin brother in his house.
They're gonna catch you. And when they do, don't say I didn't offer ample warning. []
I was also flying JFK Jr.'s plane when it crashed. I took the only parachute on board. Boy, that was fun!
