I've used Zymol on my last car, black 98 VW Jetta GLX, and it seemed to me that it lasts a very good long time.....

I'm ready to use the Lexol, any comments about how it smells?? Does it have leather smell or has it been perfumed??

"uhh, no officer....how fast was I going??..."

The lexol does kind of have a bit of a leather smell, but it doesn't linger. You can only smell it while you are applying it.

The next time you get in your car, you won't notice it.

One trick I've learned with Lexol is regarding the instructions on the conditioner.

They say to apply the conditioner, then wipe down with a clean towel. I find that I can use a terry-cloth applicator sponge, keep it good and semi-saturated with conditioner, and work the leather to an even finish. Then, I work it top to bottom with the applicator, without adding more conditioner, so the color is perfectly uniform. I don't wipe down with a new towel, and I find the treatment lasts longer and looks better.

YMMV.

Just say no to perfume!

Lexol has more of a natural smell. It disappates quickly.
