Cutting your springs is not a good thing to do. Cutting spings came from little kids that could not afford to put aftermarket springs or coilovers on their car. It causes a lot of bouncing and can really hurt your suspension.

There are many options you can look into instead of doing so. If you want to slam your car, and have been unable to find springs low enough then you can get coilovers. Coilovers allow you to adjust how low or high you would like your car. They are also excellent in preventing extra movement that you might worry about when buying springs.

Just keep in mind you must get our alighnment done every time you adjust them to prevent any damage to your car. They are pretty expensive but very worth it.

dont cut your springs, the heat of the cutting wheel can damage your steel, it will also mess up the ride big time. you can get springs pretty cheap nowadays, like 200$ a set for decent ones or better yet get coil overs so you can adjust the ride. tein, progress and eibach makes the best steel springs.
