Default Poll: G35 Body Kit Poll w/ PICS! *pics at bottom

How many of you would be interested if there was a carbon-fiber body kit for the
G35 Coupe.i know people that recently purchased hoods and wings out of carbon-fiber, they look extremely clean. anyway i know people that are willing to create carbon fiber kits if the demand is enough to exceed or meet supply. so i'd really appreciate your response. thanks!

I would be interested under 2 conditions:
1) Perfect match to OEM paint
2) Body kit would result in overall reduction of GVW

I'm not really interested simply b/c I'm broke but what's the quality of these pieces. Do you have pics of their work. No offense to you or your supplier but there are a lot of crap kits on the market that fit awkwardly at best and leave disgusting gaping cracks between parts. Who is your supplier anyway ... carbon fiber parts aren't something you can just make in the garage ... helps to have a good name backing a product.

In most cases with body kits you're better off buying it raw and getting it painted somewhere eles ... of course you find you like the actual carbon fiber look ... I do

blaze, gvw is gross vehicle weight. In other words, I would only be interested if the body kit will replace OEM steel parts with lighter carbon fiber parts - but not if it's just going to slap spoilers and the like on top of existing body panels.

Ru, I know about the hood. Actually, one thing I wish Infiniti WOULD do is replace the driveshaft with a carbon fiber shaft like on the 350Z. Anyone know why ours is not?

carbon fiber is not going to make much of a difference in terms of gross vehicle weight, probably about 10 pounds if you have the complete kit but im caterin towards the show car audience in terms of image. anyways heres some pics

Gardiner is the man you want to talk to.

I agree with chuck on this as well as Ru. Kits need great fit & finish, paint match, no increase to gvw.

Will wait for pics to make decision.

I like the look of the front bumper, but am wondering what effect that huge cutout in the center of it is going to have on aerodynamics - and how much lift it might induce.

The bumper that you like chilling is custom made from Japan, so if there are enough people willing fiberglass or carbon-fiber, ill have my friend start manufacturing those products.
