Default Cleaning Exterior Black Plastic/Rubber surfaces

I have unfortunately gotten some wax residue on the exterior plastic and rubber trim of my coupe. What is the best way to remove this? I know Armor-All will hide it, but it'll fade/wash off and I'm not a big fan of Armor-All. Armor-All also leaves streaks on painted surfaces if it gets wet and washes off.

Kal.

Good Question.
I was wondering the same thing last weekend but forgot to post about it.

I have some stuff called "back-to-black" that seems to work. It looks pretty greasy for a few days, but then goes back to normal.

Where did you buy it?
Google didn't find much in the way of back to black.

But then again...I've heard you're better than google..so I had to ask.

I think it's made by Mother's. I got it at Pep Boys.
Edit: here it is.

Kal strip all your wax off and go with Zaino. Won't have to worry about the Zaino staining the black parts.

I like having time to DRIVE my car. []

Hehe, typically I'm looking for a quick, attractive finish. I've been using Gold Class, I'm going to switch to NXT for my next run (and give a much-needed report on quality).

1st prep takes some time, but once you've got the first couple of coats of Zaino on it's very easy and quick to upkeep (plus lasts pretty long).[^]

I still have a bottle of this stuff from when I had my S-10. It works great and leaves a nice shine to the plastic parts. I would highly recommend this product.

Take some Dawn dishwashing liquid and put a couple drops on a cloth and rub it over the black plastic/rubber area and then flush it off with water. That usually does the trick, however, the rinse water will also take the wax off any area of your car that it flows over, so you'll need to re-wax those areas again, unless you've used Zaino as it stands up pretty well to harsh detergents.
