Default Observations on the forum...

(from a Dennis Miller wannabe who only paid for 2 lessons of the home study rant course and didn't pass)

The 6mt forum is an interesting microcosm of our world, so many opinions, so many interests, yet all unified by a high regard for (if not passionate about) the G35 in all its iterations.

Usually, I find lots of useful, sometimes opinionated, and often amusing information on our vehicles. Other times, I just have to take a step back and marvel at the diversity of interests and priorities involved with our automotive obsession.

One the one hand, there is the contingent of pre-eminent gearheads looking to squeeze out every bit of horsepower from the VQ. They are some torque cravin’, Nismo boltin’, Cat back, Procharger mountin’, 19” hook-me-up-to-the-dyno every weekend muthas. All testosterone and NOS pumping through their veins. And I have the latest TSB to prove it.

On the other hand a large, yet lofty cadre of detail-o-philes. This would be the group symbolized by the what color should I buy, am I the youngest/oldest here, door escutcheon, 2% tint on my taillights, bug flew in my defroster, ring scratched the door handle, dentalflossing to debadge before using a microfiber towel and q-tips to clean the excess water drips while I Zaino my oh-too-small sunglass holder ‘enthusiast’.

BTW is there a DIY for proper use of the Mr. Clean car wash product? I am planning a high discharge modification and larger diameter garden hose CWI (cold water injection) upgrade soon for mine.

All jest aside and not to suck up too much more bandwidth, I do enjoy reading this forum and find it much more tolerant, informative, and outright fun than many of the others dedicated to the G and 350. Everyone’s input, no matter how meaningful or small is fun, and appreciated. OK, except for the guy who wants to put on spinners. J/k

Motor on Garth.

You forgot my personal favorite: using peanut butter to clean your car.

Well put Fastforward. I believe everyone here enjoys the drive, hates the days when he can't drive, and loves the looks he gets when he drives by in the beautiful car we call "our G's".

What kind of boat? A speed boat no doubt. I adopted Fastforward a long time ago as it represented two of my interests, going fast and video (my industry).

I also am in the video industry....it was a sailboat and was pretty quick....for a sail boat. I had a smaller boat named Rewind.
