JL AUDIO...W6 vs. W7!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys..i went to the local car audio shop last night..and the guy that works there..told me a w6 sounds better than the w7...i wanna know if thats true..or if the guys just a crack head...please help me on this one..i need subs..[finger]

Yea i actually just got back from a car audio place and i was talkin to the guy about the W6. From what he was saying i believe W6 is more clean in sound and the W7 is for the over whelming hard hitting bass. Both hit hard but i think the W6 is a bit tighter and clean sounding. But thats just me.

Its just all personal taste i think. If u want the outrageously loud bass go with the W7s. Im debating between the W3s and W6s. I need to hear them and then ill make my decision.

What do you think the price of 2 w6's...all around 6 MbQuart speakers a cap..and A GREAT amplifier would be...btw...What kind of amp would sustain all that power?????????????

bamshad, have a little patience. You might also try posting in the correct forum, we have an Audio/Nav forum that does well with these kinds of questions.

I've seen a few people recommending JL amps, do a search and you'll get a few. You have the right speaker for tweeters - MbQuart - but again, a search will show that there are a couple different brands that may be better depending on what location you're upgrading.
