Default injen cold air intake install

has anyone installed a injen cold air intake into their g without having to take the bumper off? i know that the nismo or pop charger doesnt require taking the bumper off, im specifically asking about the injen one. mine just arrived and i heard something about taking the wheel fender liner off but im not sure if thats possible.

I had a Injen CAI on my G. You do not have to remove the front bumpber. It is much easier to intall it by removing the left front tire and simply removing the front half of the plastic inner fender liner, then install per Injen's directions.

All I did was stuff the damn thing down . I did bend the filter a bit but it still worked ok and I was done with the install in about 15 minutes.

I wanna say it took about 2 hours or so.

I did not remove the plastic panel like the directions ask, I sliced off a section of the foam block surrounding it.
