Well me and the Mrs. finally got to drive off today with our new G!! We had left on vacation last week and the dealership had called us Friday night and said our car just arrived off the truck. We came back a little early to get it. I could hardly sleep last night knowing I was going to get it today. I let my wife be the first one to drive it today from the showroom. We drove all over the city this evening...lol Loved every minute of it. we finally pulled ot in the garage and just looked at it for a while...lol It looks strange having something look that good and knowing that you own it and its in your garage. I am glad it came in early. I decided not to tint the windows for now. It did come with splash guards. They said they all come standard with them now. Which I could tell considering I ordered it without, but they look great on it. I was worried about keeping it under 4000rpm's for the first 1200 miles but after driving it this evening I am noticing it is not goping to be hard to keep it under 4000 after all. It has so much pick up and go from 1500 to 3500 rpm its amazing. Well anyway I have got to get to bed and wake up to drive all day tomorrow...lol I am glad I am still on vacation gives me that quality with the car that I and my wife need... Cool deal! I did almost the same thing, bought the car and had it 5 days before I went on vacation. I didn't even let them detail it until I left for vacation so I could have it a few extra hours.
Driving first, pictures second... Do some driving for me, weather has been in the crapper here.

Been driving a bunch today but weather is bad here to its been raining like crazy. Was on the highway earlier today and a lady in a Ivory G35 coupe passed us and gave us the thumbs up..my wife was tickled to death and all I could do was wave back and had this big grin on my face...lol
I know what you're saying - I'm in Fort Worth and we've seen most everything you've seen. My car is a mess. Again. But, looks like we're going to finally see some sun in the next couple days.

I see quite a few G35s here, there are at least 4 within 2-3 miles of me and I see two almost every day.

Oh by the way I picked up the rubber all weather mats for it the yesterday so I dont mess up the carpet ones. Maybe when it quites raining and drys out I may switch them out every now and then. The Rubber mats actually dont look that bad.
Oh also since I am on the subjects of mats(the original carpet mats) mine came with the one peace for the back seats with the Infiniti Logo in the center. One of the guys at the dealership said his 6MT came with a two peace back and his is an 04 so is it because mines the 5AT that I got the one peace? Or is it because his may be a 04 and mine is a 04.5? Just wondering.
