I tested an IS300, I actually liked it. It is very balanced, comfortable to drive in the sense that it doesn't feel like it could get hyperactive on you.
It was also slow-feeling, even in the manual. The IS300 seriously need some HP, but as a Toyota one can expect little in that category.
