Every time I open my car door in the morning and it is covered in morning dew or residual moisture from an overnight rain, the water drips all over my seats and inner door handle. I can't imagine it's good for the seat leather to get wet almost every single morning(even tho I prompty dry it off).
Are there any decent looking wind deflectors that can be installed on our cars to stop this type of effect both when opening the door of a wet G35 Coupe or while driving with a window slightly cracked while the car is wet?
I would not dream of leaving a "G" outside in the first place overnight. Just asking for some type of trouble to occur eventually. I would at least have some type of awning over it to keep most of the elements off if I had no other choice.
I share the same issue with the windows when caught in the rain. But the "G" looks so much sleeker without the channels on the rim of the glass to help shed the water away. There is not much you can do about this in most vehicles anyway that I have seen. Even using an umbrella you tend to bring some water into the interior.
What sucks even worse, is pulling out of a driveway uphill, and hiving some bozo behind you about six inches. I had this happen yesterday. In the event to prevent the standard slight rollback while going uphill and shifting into first gear, I was trying to avoid bumping into the clown behind me and subsequently stalled the car. This is the most frustrating experience…
Hey dieu,
Hope I'm not telling you what you already know, but if you put the car in gear and let out the clutch just to the friction point, it will hold the car while you move your right foot from the brake to the accelerator. You won't roll and you won't stall.

I'd like to cover it, no doubt....but I don't want to make my house look like white trash by having a makeshift garage in my yard.
I guess for now, I'll just have to deal with it until I can get a real garage(dreaming of one with a lift hopefully!) heh.
