Default What are people paying for 04 Coupes these days?

I bought my 04 G35 coupe a few weeks ago, at what I thought was a pretty good deal(after much research and about 8 months of shopping). My old lady works in a bank and told me today that some woman came in and got a bank check for 42 grand to buy a new 04 coupe. That seems a bit pricey to me, even if you have every single possible option.

This knowledge of what that other woman payed sparked my interest, and could also be useful for other people who are looking into buying a new G35 coupe. I was wondering(for those of you willing to reveal this info), what did you guys pay for your cars, what options did you get, and what general area do you live in?

I live in South Eastern Massachusetts, bought my car about 3 weeks ago. It is a 2004 G35 Coupe, with Manual transmission, Luxury Package, Navigation System, Cargo/Convenience package, and Trunk Mat. I got it in Diamond graphite with black interior, and payed 36.5 for it not including tax or registration. 38.2 was the total cost after tax and registration.

I got it at Infiniti of Norwood(It's actually in Westwood), on route 1.
The entire experience was very simple, straightforward and not difficult in any way.

I definitely recommend giong through them if you're in the area. I was watching all of the Infiniti lots of dealers in the area for a good couple of months waiting for someone to get in the car that I wanted, so they couldn't stick it to me with paying MSRP(or something close to it) to do a factory order.

Seeing as our nice weather season is soo short here in Mass, You might not have that luxury. Another thing to consider is that the 05's will be coming out in a few months and are rumored to have 300 HP. Just something to keep in mind when deciding if you want to go get your 04 now, or wait till september or later and pay more for the new and improved 2005 model.

33,400 from Ray Catena Infiniti ... 6MT Pearl/Willow, Premium package (kinda required unless ya order one straight from Japan), floor mats, rubber mats ... I'm also getting a decent discount on a lowjack should I want to go back and get it. If I go back within a year I was told anything I want put in (aero, navi) would be free install but I'm thinking they may try to shaft me if I go for it

Ru_36c I'm from Staten Island, NY.

how was your experience at Ray Catena? I was thinking about going to King's Infiniti on neptune in Brooklyn... how much did you take off from msrp?

I'm trying to get silver or black coupe... auto with evey option.
I checked it at infiniti.com and came out to 39,500.
