DVD Navigation?

Well... GOt my G35 last week and it has the DVD navigation in it. Any way of hacking it and making it able to play regular DVDs? Kinda lame they put a DVD Rom in the car just to have it play the Maps DVD isn't it? Or am I retarded and missing something? HELP!!!!! [!][!][!][!][!][!][!][!][!]
