One last thing about the air bag, there is a way to bypass it with a 1/2 watt resistors to confuse the system that there is a airbag and not to mess around with the others and not get a light on the dash u can find the post it in g35driver its easy just google it

What exactly is your GOAL here? The airbag remains OFF as long as the seatbelt is not in use (buckled), so they don't deploy and add expense to an accident if no one is sitting there. Not sure what year you have. Mine was 2003 and I needed to deactivate the airbag if my then 8 year old daughter was to ride in the front (because of safety-she as smaller). I wanted to install a switch to shut off the airbag but no one would touch that one (i.e., liability and possibility of accidental deployment w/Power surge or hitting the switch while in motion). I installed a rear seat belt to use in case my daughter was in the car, essentially fooling the system into thinking there was no passenger. Adults used the regular one.
Actually - its a pressure sensor under the seat that tells it to engage/disengage the pass air bags.
People tend to sit without their belts on
Unless they didnt have that in 03.
My 06 was a pressure sensor. Only reason i know that is cause i put my weighted vest in teh front seat and the "pass airbag off" light shut off (meaning it was engaged)
