Default 3750 miles Maintence - Necessary?

I bought my Blk 2004 G35 fully loaded in January- I'm at 3600 miles right now... should I schedule the recommended check up or not.

I'm a Girl... so I know nothing about mechanics stuff

But I can change my own oil/ check the normal engine stuff

So should I do it myself and wait to take it in at the 7500K ?
The car runs fine.. I love it.. and dont want nothing bad to happen.

Any suggestions ???

Welcome!

It's up to you. I changed the oil on my old car, but I don't on the G because dealer service is such a good deal. For $0-30 (you can sometimes get it free), you get
* a loaner
* a wash
* the little infiniti stamp in your book, which will help with resale
* protection from liability (if something breaks, you can blame them for not catching it)
* an oil change

Also, I have the underbody diffusers, which are a pain to remove. That's more work than the oil change itself.

I would definitely suggest taking it in for your first change. They'll do it for free if you ask, so you've got nothing to lose.

Yeah, I hate that "I'm with stupid" tag. It's hard to tell if the person is agreeing or calling someone stupid. Or both.

I'm not stupid... just wanted some advice. I can change my own oil... that's more than what most girls can do. But thanks to everyone who helped me out. Really appreciate it. I dont know anyone else with a G35 so that's why I asked. But trust me, I'm pretty smart- after all I did buy a G35 coupe over a BMW ![]
