Lease for 39 months/20K miles/5K down for $439/month
At first, they came at me with $509/month, but I knew that number was total crap.

I did see some deals around here for 399 a month with the options you listed. I didn't inquire further so I don't know how much they want for a down payment or what the miles per year. I live in northern cali the dealer's name is My Infiniti.
sorry but i don't think leasing is ever a good deal unless you can write it off for business purposes.

C'mon man, that's nonsense. There are other benefits to leasing. Not to mention if you calculate the total out-of-pocket expense between financing and leasing after 3 years, you'll see that there is little difference between the two. In fact, leasing might be cheaper in the end.

yea but what if you sell ur car after 3 years?...if you buy the car, sure its in your name and yours...but your still paying for the depreciation of it..leasing is just an easy way to get rid of a car in 3 years rather than selling it yourself

good point. leasing ain't for everybody. if you want to drive a new car every couple of years and have the cash to spend, go for it. i plan on keeping my g for a while.
Leasing is not for everyone! When you lease a vehicle you are paying for the use of the vehicle plus the depreciation of it. The problems can come at the end of the lease if you go over your allowed miles or turn the car in and it is judged to be in not the correct shape per terms of the agreement.
why would you put $5k down for a lease?? i lease, and refuse to put any money down. you are renting the car. why give them money up front when you can invest your money, and just pay higher payments. if you can't afford the higher payments, then maybe you should consider a less expensive car.
