compared to other luxary cars, our key and key fob is so cheap. my biggest problem is the poor design (90s technology) it is 2 seperate devices. i loved how my bmw key had the functions built on the key. or how Mercedes is just a laser key, with the functions built in. i beleive Lexus has the functions built on their key too.
our key is the standard key that comes with most (if not all) Nissans! why couldn't Infiniti put a couple bucks in R&D and make a cooler, smaller, more inovative, and ORIGINAL key/key fob?
sorry, had to vent...this is about the only thing that i don't like about my G. i would love to hear some comments.
Agreed but there is a reason this car is much cheaper than a bmw. Nissan cut some corners to keep costs down. Ultimately you still get a lot of bang for your buck and mainly nit picky things like a crappy key fob to complain about. life could be worse.
Huh? My key works just fine. I especially like the metal insert which keeps the plastic part from being scratched. As for the fob I hate all those things and threw it in a drawer as soon as I brought the car home.
I key is awesome, it fits in that nice little slot built into the car... quite innovative might I add, and to top it all off, when your turn it the car turns on. Then the driving car start wooo hooo...
