Default Splash Guards

Hey all I just had a question. The dealership called yesterday and said that they just now where putting my order in. Anyway I wanted it without splash guards (which of course is an option) anyway the dealership said it may be hard to get them to make it without. They said that they heard that the manufacture was making all G35C come with splash guards now.?.[dunno] Anyone heard of this? I don't mind them on but I think I prefer the looks a little better with out. Any thoughts would be great.[^]

By the way anyone else in these forums from oklahoma?[thmsup]

My dealer said the same thing to me. I asked him if it would delay my order to get one without the guards and he said yes. I really didn't mind the guards, so I said ok, I'll take a car with them but since *I* didn't order them I'm not going to pay for them. He said he could do that, and we were both happy.

I'm glad I got them now, probably would have ordered them aftermarket anyway but I think they actually enhance the look of the car - they make it look a little wider and a little lower.

I agree. But I wonder how much of a delay it would be? Guess I will have to wait and see.

Get the splash guards. They are not mud flaps and look nothing like them. They actually make the car look a little meaner especially if your car is dark. [grad]

They work well for keeping the car cleaner as well. Stops most of the standing water from splashing the sides of the car in non-rainy conditions.
