Sticking parking brake

On my 6MT I've noticed that occassionally after the car has sat for 24 hours or so (maybe shorter sometimes) with the parking brake engaged, they will "stick" after its released. In other words, I release the lever fully, and you can tell the brakes are still grabbing tight. It won't roll and actually feels like it breaks loose by moving it slightly while in gear. I haven't noticed any abnormal heat or wear so I don't think they are gripping while I'm driving. Its almost as if the pads are just "sticking" to the rotors. Anyone else have this problem?

i've had this happen once cuz i left my car out in below freezing temps so i guess it just froze and then i tried backing up and it really broke free but i had the brakes looked at after and it was fine

try pressing the brakes, maybe that will unlock em.

This happens to me as well- but only occasionally. And the weather does not have to be cold for it to happen. It hasn't bothered me enough to do anything about it yet.
