Default problems with remote keyless entry???

I made the switch from BMW to my new G35 coupe, and I absolutely love it. The car has serious balls.

The one problem I have with it, is remote keyless entry! I live in the Philadelphia area, fairly close to radio towers, and my keyfob doesn't work there. I never had problems with the bimmer in this area?

It works in other areas, but not at home? Sometimes, and only sometimes, if I am right on top of the car it works at home.

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Any suggestions? Can the dealer help, maybe a different frequency???

Check out my new ride:

That's a new one for me.

You can ask the dealer, but I kind of doubt it. I'm amazed this thing is intered by that frequency range since I'd assume the fob to be well outside that, but your problem does sound like interference.

You could look into swapping the system for an aftermarket unit with a little more engineering as Bizz did.

I'll be nice if you get hands on a frequency spectrum analyzer to see what is near your house.
Seems like someone is blasting alot of power on certain frequency.
Any Wireless 802.11 Access point or RF radio transmitter near the house?

YES! There are 2 huge radio towers less than 1/4 mile away. I realize this may be the ineteference, but why did my BMW work? Do you think I can get an Infiniti keyfob at a higher/lower frequency to work better?

Doubtful. Radio transmissions tend to be across a wide frequency spectrum, while close range consumer electronics rarely vary by much. I doubt the other fobs will be that far from the frequency it's currently running at.
