Question '04 OEM oil filter

Idiot at the local Infiniti dealership won't give me the part # for the OEM oil filter for 2004 G35 coupe....and apparently the local Nissan dealership doesn't know the number because according to them Infiniti is "a totally seperate operation"

Does anyone have that part # ?

Read some nasty stuff about that filter on here so I probably won't buy it, but just want to price it out elsewhere other than the inifiniti dealership (they wanted **$17** for the OEM oil filter and wouldnt give me the part number !!!! )

Also if someone could confirm that the Mobil 1 oil filter # is M1108 that would be great.

Thanks !

I just go to the local autoparts store and use their big-book-o-filters to find what I need...f*©k the OEM for an oil filter

Pretty sure Nissan would use the exact same one as the 350Z since it's damn near the same car.

IIRC there are two Mobil 1 filters that will work, one is slightly longer than the other but has the same threads and sealing dimensions. I don't remember the numbers

The filter for the 04 is 15208-65F0C. This is used on almost every V6 out for Nissan and Infiniti.
There slightly taller version of the filter which is the 15208-9E000, it's used on the older 3.0L V6's but it also is used on the,Armada, Titan, QX56, Pathfinder, QX4 and other models as well. But for your car, the 65F0C filter will be the one.

I have a 05 Maxima and have almost 100,000 miles on it and used the OEM filter since new, which is also a
65FOC. I have not have any issues with the filter leaking or any sort.

BTW: $17 is a ripoff, some dealerships are just ridiculous on thier pricing. Being one ourselves, that's a lot for a filter.

Hopes this helps.

Do not waist your money on a oem filter as they are crap.Get yourself a purolater gold filter as they are rated one of the best.

just pick up an aftermarket oil filter, they are cheaper and better. Any auto parts place will have them
