Question Trunk doesn't unlock - how to open from inside?

Hey guys,

For some odd reason, my trunk does not unlock either by the FOB or the release button to the left of the steering wheel. Is there a way to fold down the rear seats from the inside?

I had this happen, I started the car and then turned it off, locked and unlocked the doors and hit the trunk button on the FOB and it opened. NO idea how though.

Awesome! The red rope worked!! Thanks thatguy! I was able to get my laptop out of my trunk!

Now... what the heck is the problem? It seems like there's no 'clicking' sound when I use the FOB or the release button on the dash...

the middle seat hole that leads to the trunk do you have that? if so then you could access it thru there but it will be very hard to accomplish

but he won't fit anything such as his labtop out, and he's already found a way to get in there.

as far as a solution, open your glove box and on the right hand side there should be a switch that turns control of your trunk on and off, a safety feature of sorts. Make sure its not turned off. On my side its towards the top left side. If that does't work your probably crimped a wire, but im leaning more towards it simply being turned off.

have you tried restarting the car and then reattempting to open the trunk?...this usually works for me

My car does the exact same thing and of course the dealer couldn't find anything wrong...
