Default kinetix plenum

My buddy sold his Z, had a kinetix plenum (not SSV) on it and took it off before selling it. He has offered it to me for $250. Should I take it? I was going to do the motordyne copper iso thermal spacer. I'm reluctant to buy it so if anyone here wants it..let me know. Opinions please

Thanks!

Which version of the plenum is it?

I think the later version of the Kinetix plenums was pretty good. I'm also quite impressed with their customer service based on stories I've heard about them working to keep their customers happy.

I would spend the money on the MD spacer and iso thermal gasket.

If it's the plastic Kinetix plenum, then the plenum will be cooler than that setup............

Maybe cooler, but maybe not the same gains.

^^^I'm not so sure there will be a noticeable difference between the Kinetix and a spacer. I can't really see them being all that different.

I'm pretty sure I'm gunna go with the MD. I'm also not a huge fan of used things. I'm sure they are fine but just not for me.
