Default Locked my keys in the G.

OK, I'm a dumb-a$$ and 750 will probably say because I own a 5AT but yeah, I locked my keys in the car.

Good news is the wife left her car here as she is away on a trip. Bad news is the extra key and fob are in her possession.

Not the end of the world, the car is in the garage and I just need for her to get back later in the week so I can get in.

I tried that myth on the web that said you can have someone click the key fob using a cell phone from a remote location and the door will open.
Well, it doesn't work...fugetaboutit.

This guy makes it look so easy.

but if you locking your keys in the car AND driving an AT don't prove you're a dumbass, the fact that you actually tried that stupid cell phone trick does!

What the eff do I know...I drive a 5AT. heehee

Did you ever see all this crap on Google or yahoo? Like 20 different things that show you it works. Did you see the video? I figured, WTF, how hard is it to prove it does or doesn't work.

Hey, at least I have my keys locked in the car and in my garage and not at some shopping mall.

LOL, something like that as she kept calling me a knucklehead.

I actually said, I want to see if it works as an experiment. I actually did not think it would because i read all those youtube comments. When your keys are locked in, you start grasping at straws. I'm just glad I did not need to go someplace....like a job interview. Bwaaaah.

I'm pretty sure the only guy who looks like a genious is the guy who misspells genius.

Here's how you use a cellphone to unlock your car.

1) standing back a couple feet throw the phone as hard as you can against the side window.
2) if it bounces off, it's because you throw like a girl. go get a man to throw the phone at the window.
3) reach through the broken window and press the unlock button.
4) retrieve keys.
5) replace side window and phone.

uhhhh...I'm not seeing an IR (infrared) emitter on my remote, which makes it RF (radio frequency). "Sound" is just a different spectrum of radio waves that we can actually hear.
That being said it still doesn't work

When you watch the vid on the link in post one, do you figure it's a hoax and if so (we can assume it is) what is the purpose of this vid? What is the motive? It's not like the guys that pulled the crop circle stunts or the Loch Ness monster story. I just don't get reason for all the effort to make the vid.

If I locked my keys in, I could just push that button, right? I mean, it would assume the keys are in my possesion... RIGHT?
