Default Wheels again

Ok im sure eveybody is getting sick of me and all my wheel talk but idk who else to ask. now, the stock 2004 g35 7 spoke wheels are 18x8s correct?
if so, will all 18x8 rims fit on my tires that are currently on my stock rims?

I believe yes the original 18" wheels were 18"x8". As for your tires fitting, it's hard to say without knowing what sizes you are talking about (but yes they most likely will).

I can tell you that if you visit the tire manufacturer's website and pull data on your tires, they will have a chart that tells you what size wheels you can mount your tires on.

Example:
Pilot® Sport: Browse Tires in Ultra-High Performance Sport: Michelin Tires: Michelin Tires

.....................choosing 224/45 18 you will see the tires will fit a 7.0" to 8.5" wide wheel.

Yes, the 18 inch 7-spoke rims are 18x8 all around. There is a limit to the width of tire that will fit on the rim. Wider tires will fit on the rim than will work with your car though.

the stock 18's take a different tire on the rear than on the front. the rear tires are wider.

i dont think stock 03/04s have a staggered setup 750.. the 19" forged wheels are tho from the 05/06s unless you seen 225s on the front and 245s on the back of a set.. IDK

04 setup is staggered.

either way, that makes no difference. if tires fit on a 18x8 rims, so they will fit ALL 18x8 rims.

yah i think it is 225 and 245. i actually have 2 different brand tires on my coupe bc i replaced the rears before the fronts. when i went to get new fronts, they told me the tire i have on the rear isn't made in the front tire's width so i had to get something else.

Little Smoke apparently you missed the fact that the OP never mentioned tire size only asked if the tires on his stock wheels would fit. There are tires that will fit on wheels outside of the manufacturers recommended ranges.

Firestone had a big issue with this before and led to a lot of lawsuits. The tires would fit, but one problem is they built up excessive heat and caused delaminations/blowouts. While the tire fit, it wasn't on the properly sized wheel.

OP - Always stay within the manufacturer's specified wheel widths and load ratings.

What kind of rims are you looking for? High performance aftermarket rims for these cars are usually staggered and will require wider than stock tires.

But there are plenty of options where you can get the same size 18x8 rims all around and use the tires that are currently on the 18x8 rims on your car.

The wheels for the G do not have to be staggered. In fact the oem wheels are not staggered.

The tire setup however are staggered for the G coupe. Despite this, there are people who run non staggered setups. If you run a non staggered setup with your tires you need to make sure it's not so extremene that it will affect your VDC or ABS systems. You must also keep in mind a non staggered tire setup will bias your car less to the slight understeer it has with the oem tire setup.
