I think I clocked my stock a3 a tick past 6.3 0-60 without using that crazy launch control start. but with it in Sport shift mode. I think my g, stock, 0-60 withotu a clutch dump was like 6.7.

i dont know, maybe my memory is foggy, maybe it was 6.2 - what is the norm for 0-60 without a clutch dump on a revvup? i remember when mine was modded out i ran a 1/4 mile in like 12.9 it was stupid fast, neftali can attest.

The G's suspension is much stiffer than the eclipse's and probably more than the audi's.

Stiff suspension means you feel less Jerk (change in acceleration). I'm assuming that with soft suspension, the wheels take off first and the chassis sits still for a brief second as the weight shifts, then the springs have to pull the chassis to meet the wheels which makes you feel the acceleration more.

Kind of like those cartoons where the person gets pulled fast and their head stays on screen for a moment, then it springs back towards their moving body.

I'm not angry... just trying to say that the G35 is fast as I always expected it to be and I am extremely happy with it. I don't think the car is underpowered.
