it doesnt feel fast bc it aint fast. my a3 is faster than a stock g35 cpe. pretty pathetic.
ehhhh i dunno about this. it may feel faster, but i doubt it actually is... def is NOT if it's stock (the a3). i believe all a3 are the 2.0t so you've got 200hp, even on a lighter car, it's not faster.
i've driven about every audi there is, and if it's not an S, RS, 2.7tt or 4.2+... it's not faster than the G.
i'm not bashing your car, i like audi's better than G's... just stating what i know from experience.

Well, on good days, my G35 is real quick, especially after recently having the plenum spacer, grounding kit and the flow controller put in and tuned. Problem is I don't have many good days. I started losing power to the wheels on random days after the dealer changed the trans fluid at 30K. Been trying to figure it out for almost 2 years. I paid attention to the weather, humidity, type of gas, how much gas was in tank, etc, etc, but it didn't make any sense. I had a bunch of work done to it to try and fix it but nothing so far. I'm at the point where I think there might be something wrong with the trans fluid or the dealer did something to effect the torque converter. I checked and there is a bulletin on a special trans fluid procedure for the 04's. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to have them look at it, again. I'll let you know if that fixes it.

oh come on! I have driven an A3, A4 & A6... and to say that an A3 is faster than a G... you gotta be kidding me!
It may feel fast because it's smaller and feels lighter. but it's not faster than a G. All the 'A' model Audis are designed for luxury and electrical problems. All the 'S' model Audis are designed for racing with a lot of electrical problems. S4 maybe able to keep up with the G... not an A3...

stop making me mad now
...I like Audis too... just not more than my G
the S4 (current model, not the V6tt) is a tick faster than the G.
