I'm somehow locked out of my trunk. Key fob doesn't work, neither does the switch on the dash below the steering wheel. The lockout switch in the glove box is in the correct position (Off which should let me use either the key fob or the dash switch). However, I've tried it in both positions with the same affect. Nothing works.
I am only able to get in by pulling the red loop under the rear seat, lowering the seat and crawling back there and pulling the emergency latch release. I pulled the cover off the underside of the trunk and checked all the wires and all are in tact.
Is there a fuse or something that could have blown? I even checked all the F'ing fuses as well.
Everything worked just fine yesterday - opened it as usual with the key fob, put something in there, opened again when I got home, no problems. Then last night I go to open the trunk and it won't open. I'm at a loss.
that happened to my coupe once. None of the buttons would work. I turned the key on - not starting the car but turning on everything - and the buttons worked again. I haven't had that issue since. I don't know why it did that.

Can you hear the trunk latch solenoid activating, or is it totally silent when you press the remote?? If the solenoid isn't activating, it could be a blown fuse or bad solenoid. If you can hear it, it may be mechanically broken or need adjustment.

Nothing at all, no click - nothing. Where is the solenoid and/or fuse for that located?

My sedan did that a couple of times too and my coupe will do that about once a month or so. the key on/off has always fixed the problem. I'm just taking a shot in the dark here but maybe disconnect the battery and reconnect.
