i posted thread on audio section but no one seems to go there anymore I just looked pioneer champion series two 10" subs and mtx mono amps. just want to hear some opinions and advises. I have never had sound system but this guy i talked today told me pioneer subs are the best and bla bla bla.
AND, i've always heard aftermarket HU would make sound better when adding sound system. i think it was becuz more ohms but i have no idea. educate me plz!
I use to have a pair of pioneer 12"s. Their not the greatest, but definately not the worst. However, I'd go another route if I were you. Audiobahn, JL, certain Kickers are good. Woofer & amp wise.

If you have the bose system you are going to have to change everything out. (HU, stock amp, and all speakers). Then you will have to purchase new speakers, an amp for those speakers, a crossover, a sub and a sub amp, not to mention the amp kit and wiring. Good Luck.

i think i saw someone saying, when it comes to subs & amps, get anything except JL in this website. i think it was someone who went to the SQL car show and won. just don't remember the account name of his.
I went with a 10" DVC Bazooka tube with a ext. 300 watt amp mainly because I wanted something that would take up as little trunk space as possible. The tube fits under the rear deck perfectly. It sounded good with that amp but I'm now running a 900 watt rms kenwood and you can see the trunk flex when the bass kicks. Theres better stuff out there but for me that was the best bang for the buck and size.

well, if you like and are satisfied with the quality of best buy products, youll love this sub.........cause its about 100 times better. sounds cleaner, louder and just overall better. The only thing ive really heard that compared is something like focal, jl, etc........
but right on.....hopefully someone can join with me in my opinion that has heard them or owned something from elemental designs.
if you decide your interested, let me know. I took it out of my old car and just never reinstalled it.
