Question Newbie needs help? Bearings or tires?

I get this "woo woo woo woo" noise from 0-10 mph or 10-0 when slowing down. I know it cant be the rotors cuz it does it when Im off the brakes. My only 2 guesses would be what I stated in the title..

Any one ever have this problem?
Car is an 03 coupe w 46,160 miles

I know exactly what your talking about, it's annoying as hell. It's because the front tires are cupped or worn unevenly on the inside. It's caused by the negative camber that our cars have. I was going to replace my tires because I'm so sick of the noise but I decided to just deal with it because theres like 50% tread remaining. Also the new tires are likely to do the same thing with out installing camber kits.

My '05 has this same noise with fairly new tires (OEM Bridgestones) and I saw a lot of other comments aboutthe same problem. Is this mainly a problem with the Bridgestone tires or does the noise happen with all tires?

it's the tires. I've searched and searched about this too, went to the dealer etc. Doesn't matter what kind of tires it will keep happening b/c of the way the suspension is set up from the factory. Gilley says buy SPC camber kits
I will before I buy a new set of tires that noise makes your car sound like a '88 corolla inside

It will happen with any tires.

I boughta SPC camber kits to have the alignment with less negative camber. You have to tell the alignment shop to do it that way though.

Have you herd anything about these tires? they don't make the 225-40-19, I think the closest it 225 35. but it may be worth a shot.

Some tires are somewhat better in this dept than others. It's a matter of experimenting around. When I had my Avon 550 A/S the noise was so intolerable that I had to take the fronts off after 7,000 miles. I currently put back the original RSAs and after 5,000 miles they are still pretty quiet. I'm sure as the miles accumulate the noise becomes more pronounced. Any of our cars that have higher mileage on their front tires are going to scream. It goes with the ownership on the 03-07 Coupes. A camber kit might help but seems like an awfully expensive fix for our distorted front ends. Infiniti finally got it right on the G37s as there are no posts on any feathering issues.

A camber kit may be an expensive fix, but it's cheaper than a new set of tires.

Ooooh, I went to the dealer and they told me the same. I got a new set of fronts and I also get 40% OFF MY NEXT SET.
