Well just got home from a local bar!
Some Drunk asshole hit me in the parking lot!
I had just pulled in to have a drink after a long day and this jerk off spins his tires in a shit Kia on wet pavement and boom, fucks up my front bumper!
Not too much damage but it just made my day even longer.
I didn't even get to have 1 drink either!

I'll post the pics tomorrow.

Just a bad Driver, made a really really wide turn and smacked into the front drivers side. Cracked a headlight & smashed the bumper up!

wow how did i miss this. also to ^ you only pay a deductible on claims made on your own insurance. his claim would be on the other drivers insurance.

huh? sorry but you got ripped. if your property is damaged, you are compensated 100% (or more) by the insured's policy. if it were something like a hit and run, that'd be different because you'd still be drawing from your own policy.

recently had it happen to my rear bumper- $750 to replace the cover and paint it (plus all the hassle and crap).

It REALLY sucks.

If I used my insurance- I would pay the deductilble and then let my insurance fight to get my money back for me (I'm sure they'dfight hard and get it fast- right...... ) luckily- I had the other guys insurance so they covered it all in the first place.

Good luck with it.

From my experience- let the repair folks know right up front you are expecting a FIRST CLASS JOB and will be a pain in the butt if its not right. My repair ended up very good- but only after they screwed it up the first time and I called them on it.
