275/35/19 would be a better size and will be closer to the OEM rear tire diameter.

wow! I just finised reading this and you were def getting the short end of the stick on this one. The dealer was no doubt trying to run an insurance scam. $6k will buy alot of wheels and tires for your G! I would stay away from this dealer from now on.

Gilley is correct. Here's a calculator that will graphically and numerically show you what he's talking about. Plug in original and intended new tire sizes:

i did a search 1255$ for the front(each) and 887 for the back (each) tires are 550 for the front 2sets, and 560 for the back 2 sets. plus the sensor is another 500 and plus services is another 900.

"I hope the insurance will give me this amount (dealer and insurance workout with this numbers)

I ordered the AXIS SHINE 19" will be here next friday, I p/u the car from the dealer. (the place I ordered the rim gave me 3 tires until friday). well I paid the dealer 524$ for the return item...WHAT EVER...eather way I will have to pay garage or return.

shouldn't storage be included with your insurance claim? You technically can't drive the car away as it sits...

You should not have had to pay the dealer squat for that return unless YOU told them to order the stock rims. They should definitely keep your car for you for free until the new rims arrive. After you get the car NEVER go to that dealership again.

+1!! I wouldn't pay them squat! I know you may think that a few hundred is nothing to get them off of your back but it is your money, you never told them to order the wheels, and you don't need to pay them ANYTHING to get your car out of there..

I figured any legitimate store owner that wants your business probably would do that.

This is VERY BAD, I would go back and fight this...stop payment on check or charge card...whatever it took. They are gouging you because they know you will be coming away with extra money (that they already planned on getting).

As suggested by someone else already, I would seek to have your insurance company cover any fees you have to pay the dealer. If insurance will only cover storage(and not returns) then be sure to have the dealer write up a receipt showing your payment was for that and not for returns.

Lastly, I would definitely report this dealer to Infiniti corporate customer services. You never know, they may well make it up to you for the dirty dealing that dealer did to you.

The insurance company will pay the towing and storage fees. You may have to pay up front and get reimbursed.

Get you money back for the return of the wheels.
