Default Need advice on how to correct problem

I installed my 20’s on last night and this is the news so far.
So I had my car running on 20" rims (255/35/20 all around) last year summer, however the front tires were pretty much bald, so I figured I'd change them next summer. I ended up changing the front to Kumho Ecsta 712, from Nexen N3000, and now that I'm driving on them, the fronts are rubbing like crazy, everytime i hit a mild bump!

I didn't have this problem at all last year.

BTW - it's an 04 coupe lowered on Tein S-tech/stock shocks, and I don't know the offset of the rims unfortunately

I think I've narrowed it down to a few things:

(1) needs alignment (I had my compression rods changed on both sides)
(2) front shocks need to be replaced (90K KM on the car)
(3) need to change the tires to a different design maybe? Meaning a more flatter/smaller (245/35) series tire?
(5) new tires have way more meat on them, and that’s the reason I have rubbing issues now and not last year
(4) the plastic inside fender could be out of place slightly where it’s enough to touch the tires when I hit a bump?

At this point, I’m willing to try anything because it’s so annoying and a bit unsafe to be driving the car like this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well the original front size is 225/40 19 so your front wheels are definitely much wider and taller than the original size. Maybe it was harder to notice with bald tires but that's a bad size for the front tire, i believe.

Sadly. you have the wrong size tires front and rear. 255/30/20 is the proper tire size up front and 285/30/20 is what you need in the rear to keep the same outside diameters of the tires to be the same as the stock tires. The 255/35/20 is nearly an inch taller in the front than the stock front tires. You really should have a staggered tire setup on the coupe.
