Default Asa Jh8 19"

I'm thinking about getting some new wheels. I have an '04 coupe 6mt with the stock 18" wheels. Does any one have ASA JH8 wheels? I've attaced a picture of one with a black face. What do you think of them? They're on clearance on tirerack for pretty cheap. They're 25-26 lbs which I think is the same weight as the stock 18s, is that true? Do you think these will clear the bembos?

Thanks in advance for any help. I've found some great info from this forum on other topics, but this is the first time I'd had to post a question.

I would call or email tirerack to find out if they would clear your Brembos.
I am not a big fan of those wheels anyways...

thanks for the feedback. my coupe is brilliant silver and i've been debating whether or not the black would look alright. i'm only considering these because they're really cheap on tirerack right now and they're pretty light in weight. tirerack only has them in 19s. i've also seen ones with a silver face (see pic) that might look better.

any other recommendations for light weight, inexpensive 19in wheels?

you will have less sidewall than your stock 17's, 18's, or 19's so the ride will be a bit more harsh..

Default I have them

I have the JH8's in Black with Polished lip on my 2005 Black/Black coupe and they look SICK!!! I get compliments all the time. They will easily clear the 03/04 Brembo's. I got them because I need them to clear some 4 or 6 pot Eradispeed or BAER brake setup I am looking at.

I have them in the 19" also, I am already worried about the small sidewall, I dont think I would go with 20's unless you are just going to do it for show and looks, 20's would not be practical for doing any sort of "sport" driving involving frequent or heavy cornering. They are on par weight wise with stock "sport" package wheels so no messing up the OEM design and handling characteristics or rotating mass which "sometimes" causes the ABS sensors to get funny.

BTW I am running Toyo Proxy T1-R's

TxVaderCpe, got any pics? I'd love to see them. What width and offset did you get for the front and rear?
