Talking New clutch, New clutch noise ! HELP !

Hello My G friends, I just got my clutch installed (clutch kit,) And I seem to have a couple of problems. As soon as I engage the clutch pedal a weird noise starts coming from the clutch. I dont know if its the bearing that came damaged or something but its driving me crazy. I also bougth a act type clutch type 2 and if im trying to get moving from a red light, the car will make a weird shaking experience from the transmission and differential area. I took the car to check at a mechanic but he didnt found anything loose down the car, could this be from the clutch, I rephrase it could this clutch be to strong for the car? I dont know but I had a similar clutch in a 1.6 miata and it didnt shake up like this car. Thanks in advance,

well, im not sure if your clutch is a disc plate or a pucked plate.....usually the pucked plates engage more "snappy" and because of this, unless you rev higher learn to release the clutch of that type, the car usually chatters alot. Thats been my expirience between the 2 and from what your describing, i would guess you got either a 4 puck or 6 puck clutch....

the sound your hearing may be a throwout bearing. I'm pretty sure that the g coupes (manual tranny) have a tendency to chatter while releasing the clutch. Mine did the same thing, i thought it was the tob (throw out bearing) so i just went ahead and threw a new oem clutch kit in (along with new TOB)

it didnt fix the problem....there was still a small chatter there that most people wouldnt really notice, but im guessing that your prolly like me and most people on here, and you notice any odd noise that your car makes. It prolly did it before just not as bad for you to notice. I think it has something to do with a spring, but dont quote me. give it a search......

my transmission has developed a terrible whine and it only has 5000 miles on it (its a new tranny) im stilll trying to figure out what it is.....good luck with your problem. i hope i have been of some help!!

Well thanks for the info, the disc is a full disc, it isnt divided anywhere like the 4 or 6 puck ones but it isnt oem neither the TOB. Its kinda a weird noise. I noticed that when Im shifting in a higher rpm like 1,500 it stops doing the weird shakes from underneath the transm. Anyway im going tobuy another TOB and im going to pay to get it installed. Thanks

I would think around 1,500 rpm would be the average anyway to have a clean start no matter which clutch you have unless you're driving a 300' hp cat diesel truck
