Default short shifter install in Toronto

anyone know a place in Toronto that had their G done. it seems like a lot more work than other cars. i don't wan't to bring it to any shop. btw, i am installing the Rogue

It's a do it yourselfer unless you have more money than time. Hardest thing was squeezing under the car, other than that only taking off the knob is hard. Any decent mechanic should be able to do the install in about 30-40 minutes.

i can always use more money, but time is a factor. way to busy with work, so i gotta hire someone. i perfer someone that has done this before .

^^^It's pretty easy. Unscrew the oem knob, pop the shift boot assembly, unscrew the cover plate for the shifter, pop under the car unhook some linkage, take out the old shifter & reverse process.

I'd buy a separate shifter cup so the mechanic doesn't have to waste time trying to recover the original one.

that does sound very simple...hmmm, but one problem. i don't have a garage and its winter here. i wish i was somewhere warm . i kinda wanna do it by this week. all the cars i owned always had a short shifter. driving without one just does not feel the same. it's like im rowing a boat...lol

this winter been so crazy in Toronto. last time we had this much snow was back in 1999. how is there in New York?
