Default Question about warranty

Hi all,

I just bought a used G last week, and it should be arriving in a week or two! (Pics to come).

My question relates to the warranty - as this is my first car. I don't believe I am getting all of the service records with the car, is this going to be a problem for getting warranty repairs?

I would assume that a maintenance inspection would not be covered under the warranty - how much do infiniti dealers typically charge to do a once-over of your car?

Thanks for your help!

Congrats on your 'new' G. It's an amazing car, muchless first car. The warranty will depend on a couple factors, mainly the year of the car and the mileage. The factory warranty is the standard 3yr/36k miles. Searching here infiniti g35 warranty you can also find information in detail about extended warranties and their associated costs, limits, usefulness, etc. Good luck.

In the US, the warranty is 48 months and 60,000 miles. You can have the dealer type your VIN and get all of the records of service performed at an Infiniti dealer. The warranty will transfer to you with no problem.

That is good I did my research and found out that Infiniti US honours their warranty for cars in Canada, but then got worried that without documented maintenance logs I might have trouble getting the warranty.

It is an '05 Coupe with 19k miles on it (US car brought into canada) so I should have the factory for a little while yet, and another couple years on the powertrain I think!
